IPR Policy of BMLinkS Project

1. Each member of the BMLinkS Project thinks that it is favorable for any customer to be able to use IPRs (patent, design, trademark and copyright) concerning BMLinkS specifications for market products.
   
2. BMLinkS Project confirms that each member agrees that, based on ISO’s IPR policy, mandatory patent(s), existing and pending, concerning BMLinkS specifications shall be licensed to 3rd parties under reasonable (including ‘royalty-free’) and non-discriminatory conditions*.
   
3. The licensing concerning the mandatory patents is to be done by each member who owns the patents.

* Each member shall be abided by the confirmation process, which is separately regulated, identifying the mandatory patent(s) , existing and pending, concerning BMLinkS specifications.
