2008.5.20 Press Conference
On Tuesday, May 20, 2008, the BMLinkS Project Committee announced the state of activities and achievements of BMLinkS on a press conference at the JBMIA office in Onarimon, Tokyo.
The conference opened with greetings from Mr. Nakanishi, JBMIA Executive Managing Director, and Mr. Nakaoka, Chairman of the BMLinkS Project Committee. Following the greetings, Mr. Suzuki, Vice-chairman of the Standing Committee, reported on the state of various activities as well as the achievements of BMLinkS.
After the activity report, using BMLinkS compliant devices from various vendors, a demonstration based on the BMLinkS Office Device Management Standard Specification was held.
Audience from various organizations, including the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and media such as economic and industrial papers, IT/PC magazines, and office equipment industrial papers, participated in an active Q&A session. The conference ended in great success.
