Announcement of the BMLinkS Office Device Management SDK for System Integrators

On November 17, 2009, the BMLinkS Project Committee announced "Office Device Management SDK (hereinafter SDK)", which supports development of solutions that reduce office device management costs in multi-vendor environment, at the Japan Business Machine and Information System Industries Association (JBMIA) office in Onarimon, Tokyo.
This SDK makes it possible easily to build multi-vendor device management solution.
Currently, some System Integrators are considering to adopt the SDK, and the BMLinkS Project Committee is working to promote BMLinkS widely by providing the SDK to even more System Integrators.
The BMLinkS Project Committee also announced that, based on end user visits and survey results, BMLinkS is used in the market as a solution.
In addition ongoing activities in document security standardization activities were announced.
For office devices that adopt these standards, a user can find "By Whom and When" documents are copied in multi-vendor environment.
The BMLinkS Project Committee is promoting this technology as an industry standard.
